Abstract:
This paper presents acoustic emission experimental research of low-speed rolling bearings on giant wheel simulation device. Statistical analysis of acoustic emission signal parameters have been done both from accumulated and averaged value. The statistical value changes of some parameters showed a tendency of "up-down-level" during the whole process, and the RMS curve is most representative. Then further analysis of peak point signals on RMS curve has been carried out. The RMS-Time graph of signals had a clear four-peak feature and different signals can be distinguished in the Energy-Amplitude graph. These results provided a useful reference data for the future health monitoring of giant wheel bearings.
