摘要:
The influence of heat-treatment on the microstructure and performance of four kinds of arc sprayed metal matrix (Ni-Cr and 304L base) composite coatings containing TiB2 was researched by use of scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscopy. The results show that after heat treatment comprising TiB2 Ni-Cr matrix coatings have no obvious improvement on the porosity and hardness. The pin-on-disk wear experimental results exhibit that wear resistance of Ni-Cr matrix coatings is increased by a factor of 2-3 by heat treatment. Heat treatment decreases the porosity and increases the density of 304L based MMC coatings. Microstructure of the heat-treated coatings presents nano-structured equiaxed grain. The pin-on-disk wear experimental results show that the heat treatment could increase the wear resistance of coatings by a factor of 5-10.
