Taking the bedding slope of the Shuangda road in Beijing for example, this paper makes a systematic investigation and the deformation monitoring of the engineering geological conditions, the deformation characteristics of the slope. On this basis, by discrete element (UDEC) numerical simulation and by analysing the engineering geological conditions, this paper discusses the deformation characteristics. The result of monitoring shows that when the slope is in the later section of slip curve, the rocks on the top and surface of the deformation shape will appear slippage crack deformation along the surface, and the fragmentation rocks nearby the first-class slope bring large deformation under the thrust of bending of stratified rock, and form the shear sliding surface. After sliding surface in the bending rocks connect the shear sliding surface in fragmentation rocks, the slope appear overall instability. The state of slope under supporting is simulated by discrete element (UDEC), and the treated slope is analyzed by means of monitoring, by using retaining walls and anchor supports, the slope reach the stability requirements.
