The bus network should be changed to accommodate the equilibrium of supply-demand when the subway line starts operating. This paper presents an evaluation method for the adjustment scheme of bus lines, and puts forward an evaluation index system based on the objective of the equilibrium of supply-demand for the passengers, the equilibrium of supply-demand for the public transport facility, the rationalily of geometry for the bus lines and the co-harmony among the bus lines. Whether or not the adjustment scheme of bus lines will be proposed to implement is decided by analyzing the result of comprehensive evaluation, such as fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE). A case study about deleting a bus line in Beijing is provided to illustrate the proposed procedure, and the operation situation after implementing the scheme is analyzed. The method and the evaluation conclusions will be useful for decision-making.
