Abstract:

In this paper, the air-water two-phase flow characteristics in the screw channel are presented by using high speed flow visualization. The flow pattern and the transition in the different positions of screw channel are illustrated. The transition mechanisms between the different flow patterns have been analyzed. The correlations are proposed to predict the transitions from bubbly flow to intermittent flow and from annular flow to intermittent flow. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
