摘要:
Based on a typical continuous rigid frame bridge with double-leg thin-walled high piers in mountain areas, the influence of tie beam number and its stiffness on the far-field seismic response was reseached using incremental dynamic analysis(IDA) method, considering traveling wave effect. The results show that the number of tie beams has a remarkable effect on the seismic response of rigid bridge compared with the tie beam position and stiffness. What is more, the support response of the rigid bridges in earthquake is lower in case of one tie beam and for the rigid frame bridge with more than two tie beams, seismic responses of the internal and external limb will be strikingly different which is unfavourable for giving full play to both limbs thin-walled piers performance. The bridge with a little more tie beams or their unreasonable position, is prone to local vibration. For the larger span bridge of high piers with many tie beams because of other factors, it is suggested to do special seismic research when considering traveling wave effect.
