Abstract:
In order to master the mechanical behaviors of vertical connection and correct design in prefabricated reinforced concrete (PRC) structures the strength degeneration and stiffness degeneration of the connection under repeated loading are analysed based on test results and theoretical analysis. It concludes that degeneration rate (DR) of concrete strength in connection decreases with connection width, but the DR of connecting rod strength involves only shear-friction coefficient, the DR of connection strength decreases with connection width and changes with connecting rod nonlinearly, and the DR of connection stiffness decreases with connection width, but has not much with connecting rod.
