Abstract:

Crystals of (Mg0.95Ca0.05) TiO3 eutectic system have been grown by using laser heated pedestal growth (LHPG) technique. The grown crystals were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, SEM and micro-Raman spectroscopy. In (Mg0.95Ca0.05) TiO3 crystal, CaTiO3 exist in MgTiO3 matrix. The dielectric measurement shows that along the growth direction, (Mg0.95Ca0.05) TiO3 crystals have higher dielectric constant and lower temperature coefficient of resonant frequency than along other directions.
