Aircraft propeller erosion wear and aerodynamic characteristics SCIE

This study investigates surface erosion wear caused by collision and friction between propellers and sand particles during the flight of propeller transport aircraft in harsh environments like deserts and plateaus, which are characterized by strong sand and wind conditions. Firstly, the erosion behavior of individual propeller blades is analyzed under various sand particle parameters using the commercial software FLUENT. Subsequently, dynamic simulations of the entire blade are conducted by the sliding mesh method to examine erosion patterns under different operational conditions, including rotation speed and climb angle. Finally, the impact of erosion on the aerodynamic characteristics of the propeller is obtained based on simulation results. This study delves into the erosion patterns observed in large aircraft propellers operating within sandy and dusty environments, as well as the consequential impact of propeller surface wear on aerodynamic performance. By elucidating these phenomena, this research provides valuable insights that can inform future endeavors aimed at optimizing propeller design.

A lightweight tuned particle damper for low-frequency vibration attenuation SCIE

A novel lightweight variable-stiffness tuned particle damper (TPD) is designed to efficiently control low-frequency vibrations across a wide frequency range in manipulators, combining particle damping technology with dynamic vibration absorber principles. This study aims to integrate both theoretical and experimental approaches to comprehensively investigate the TPD's variable stiffness, damping characteristics, and vibration attenuation efficacy. Methodologically, the research entails designing and analyzing the TPD's variable stiffness mechanism, establishing a coupled dynamic model between the TPD and the manipulator, fabricating a prototype TPD, and subsequently evaluating its frequency variability range and vibration control effectiveness. Additionally, the study explores the semi-active control capabilities of the TPD. Results demonstrate that the designed TPD, utilizing a single 100 g particle, achieves a substantial 60 % reduction in manipulator amplitudes within the 5-10 Hz frequency range. Moreover, the study identifies the TPD's operational acceleration threshold to be 0.6 g, thereby broadening its applicability across various scenarios. Furthermore, the integration of semi-active control algorithms augments the absorption frequency band. These findings highlight that the TPD offers multi-parameter adjustability in stiffness, damping, and mass, with a lighter mass compared to traditional dynamic vibration absorbers. It can effectively mitigate vibrations without altering the original system's dynamic characteristics, presenting a promising solution for engineering applications necessitating versatile and efficient vibration control mechanisms.

Acoustic metamaterials exhibit exceptional sound absorption capabilities. This study introduces a fractal labyrinthine acoustic metamaterial (FLAM) designed for sound absorption analyses in a low-frequency range of 1-2000 Hz. The fractal curve is constructed through side substitution on an isosceles right triangle, which is chosen as the spatial recursive substructure due to its self-similarity. The FLAM model is then developed. With the thermal viscous losses considered in narrow channels, the sound absorption coefficient of this model is theoretically analyzed as the structural parameters significantly affect the sound absorption. A comprehensive analysis of low-frequency sound absorption performance is conducted for the first three orders, and the reconstruction of the structure with different combinations of fractal orders is examined to optimize the FLAM. The results show that the proposed FLAM achieves nearly perfect absorption in the 50-400 Hz range, with peak absorption coefficients of 0.99, 0.95, and 0.95 for the first three orders. The proposed FLAMs for the first three orders have total thicknesses of 0.0327, 0.0217, and 0.0197, demonstrating excellent low-frequency sound absorption at deep sub-wavelength scales.

本发明公开了一种基于振动能量采集技术的混合式自供电动物追踪器,属于再生环保新能源领域。是由外壳、项带、固定轴、采集电路模块、GPS定位通信模块和混合俘能器组成的。本发明在有限的小空间采用混合式俘能结构来将收集到的环境中振动的机械能转换为电能,并且将收集到的电能通过采集电路模块和GPS定位通信模块处理后,即可通过开发的应用软件在设备上来查看动物的精确位置,能够克服目前所应用化学电池和利用太阳能发电的动物追踪器存在的一些显著缺点,实现长时间无源自供电,本发明以项圈的形式固定在动物的脖子上,能够避免宠物丢失的情况出现,同时也能够更方便有效的实现对牧区动物的定位、野生动物的跟踪监测。

Nonlinear dynamics analysis of a graphene laminated composite plate based on an extended Rayleigh-Ritz method SCIE

Linear and nonlinear vibration characteristics of the graphene platelet-reinforced composite (GPLRC) laminated plates are investigated. Based on the first-order shear theory and von Karman geometric nonlinearity, the energy expressions of the GPLRC laminates are established. The boundary elastic potential energy is established by penalty function method to simulate different boundary conditions. The linear and nonlinear frequencies of the GPLRC laminated plate are calculated by introducing boundary potential energy into Rayleigh-Ritz method. The convergence and accuracy of the method are verified by numerical examples, and the effects of different parameters on frequency are analyzed. Considering the cantilever boundary conditions, the nonlinear motion governing equations of the GPLRC laminated plate are obtained by Hamilton principle. The two-degree -freedom ordinary differential motion equations of the laminates are derived by Galerkin method. Considering the fundamental parameter resonance and 1:1 internal resonance, the amplitude-frequency response curves of the structure under transverse excitation are obtained. The effects of transverse excitation and damping coefficient on nonlinear vibration characteristics of the GPLRC laminated plates are investigated by numerical simulation.

An adaptive dynamic vibration absorber (ADVA) is designed for low-frequency vibration suppression. The leaf springs are applied as the tuning stiffness elements. The principle of variable stiffness is analyzed to obtain the effective range of the first natural frequency variation. A classic simply supported manipulator is selected as the controlled system. The coupled dynamic model of the manipulator-ADVA system is built to obtain the maximum damping efficiency and the vibration absorption capacity of the designed ADVA. An experimental platform is set up to verify the theoretical results. It is revealed that the ADVA can adjust the first natural frequency on a large scale by changing the curvature of the leaf springs. The amplitude of the manipulator is reduced obviously with the installation of the designed ADVA. Finally, based on the short-time Fourier transformation (STFT), a stepwise optimization algorithm is proposed to achieve a quick tuning of the natural frequency of the ADVA so that it can always coincide with the frequency of the prime structure. Through the above steps, the intelligent frequency tuning of the ADVA is realized with high vibration absorption performance in a wide frequency range.

本发明涉及一种三方向可调节集中式压电俘能器,用于解决现有悬臂梁式俘能器只能俘获单个方向振动能量,在复杂的多向振动环境中俘能效率低的问题,具体包括第一压电悬臂梁、第二压电悬臂梁、第三压电悬臂梁、夹具、接头、支架和底座,其中,压电悬臂梁包括:弹性基体、压电材料和质量块。第一压电悬臂梁安装在接头的右侧,悬臂梁的方向朝上,第二压电悬臂梁安装在接头的下方,悬臂梁的方向朝右,第三压电悬臂梁安装在接头的左侧,悬臂梁的方向朝前。该俘能器的三个压电悬臂梁分别沿三个不同方向振动,能够俘获任意方向的振动能量,当外界环境为单向振动形式时,能够改变初始安装方式,增加该方向振动的压电悬臂梁数目。使用本发明能够取得在复杂多向振动环境中更好的俘能效果,解决了传统的单一压电悬臂梁俘无法调节振动方向的问题。

基于嵌入式3D自组装结构的压电俘能器特性研究

本文设计了一种将压电材料内嵌入于硅凝胶软材料中的三维自组装机械结构进行振动能量采集研究,并通过有限元方法计算了该结构的俘能特性。将设计好的2D前驱体在预定位置粘结到预拉伸的软弹性体基板上,释放基体预应力使2D前驱体压缩屈曲为三维结构,其中三维结构形式可通过改变预应力的大小进行调谐,将其嵌入到硅凝胶软材料中维持三维形状。通过在不同方向,不同频率对该结构进行激励,其结果表明:3D几何结构具有宽范围、可调谐、多方向的振动模态,且嵌入于软材料中一方面可以维持3D几何构型以防塌陷,另一方面可以降低系统的固有频率以实现宽低频、多方向的振动能量采集。

为了实现压力管道智能监测与检测的自供电技术,探讨管道压力脉动能量采集技术,本文提出了一种具有力学放大器的增强型压电叠堆俘能器.基于牛顿力学原理理论推导了力学放大器的放大系数,利用有限元方法对俘能器进行了谐响应分析并讨论了结构参数对输出电压的影响规律,通过实验研究了力学放大器与管道中的扰流体对俘能器俘能效率的影响.研究结果表明:通过调整力学放大器的结构能够有效提高俘能器的开路输出电压,在水流管道中添加扰流体有利于提高管道内压力脉动,进一步提高了俘能器的输出功率.本文的研究结果对压力管道能量收集器的设计和应用具有重要的借鉴意义.
