Entropy production on cooperative opinion dynamics SCIE

As one of the most widespread social dynamics, cooperative behavior is among the most fascinating collective phenomena. Several animal species, from social insects to human beings, feature social groups altruistically working for a common benefit. This collaborative conduct pervades the actions and opinions of individuals, yielding strategic decision -making between political, religious, ethnic, and economic social puzzles. Here, we explore how cooperative behavior phenomena impact collective opinion dynamics and entropy generation in social groups. We select a random fraction f of community members as collaborative individuals and model the opinion dynamics using a social temperature parameter q that functions as a social anxiety noise. With probability q, regular individuals oppose their companions about a social decision, assuming group dissent. Collaborative agents experience a reduced effective social noise mu q, where 0 < < 1 is the social anxiety noise sensibility parameter that enhances social validation. We perform numerical simulations and mean -field analysis and find the system undergoes nonequilibrium order-disorder phase transitions with expressive social entropy production. Our results highlight the effects of a social anxiety attenuation level in improving group consensus and the emergence of cooperative dynamics as a natural maximization of entropy production in noisy social groups, thus inducing exuberant collective phenomena in complex systems.

Vulnerability to geopolitical disruptions of the global electric vehicle lithium-ion battery supply chain network SCIE

In the rapidly expanding global electric vehicle lithium -ion battery supply chain network (EV LIB SCN), intricate intercontinental and interrelated connections render it susceptible to geopolitical disturbances. The complex supplier-buyer dynamics within this network facilitate the propagation of disruptions, complicating the identification and evaluation of the consequences of geopolitical disruptions. Existing recommendations, grounded in macro -level material flow data, offer limited guidance for EV LIB -associated enterprises in managing such disruptions. To address this gap, this study constructs a meso-level EV LIB SCN incorporating realistic supplier-buyer relationship data among relevant firms. A supply chain network vulnerability (SCNV) index has been designed to quantify the disruption impact. Furthermore, a geopolitical disruption diffusion (GDD) model has been developed to simulate the disruption propagation in two distinct scenarios, i.e., single -region blockade and inter -region blockade. This study broadens the scope of EV LIB SCN investigations from macro- to meso-level analyses, and the evaluation of both direct and indirect impacts of geopolitical disruptions enhances comprehension of geopolitical disruption risks in global supply chain networks.

Resilience strategies in an intertwined supply network: Mitigating the vulnerability under disruption ripple effects SCIE

Intertwined supply network (ISN) is a complex system consisting of multiple interconnected supply chains orchestrated by different focal firms. The inherent interconnectedness of an ISN makes it vulnerable to localized disruptions, which can propagate through intricate supplier-buyer relationships, causing unpredictable disruption ripple effects that exacerbate vulnerabilities. While existing literature provides valuable insights into the vulnerability of supply networks with a single focal firm, less attention has been given to ISN comprising multiple competing focal firms. This study proposes an agent-based model to simulate the diffusion of disruption ripple effects in a realistic ISN. The model is used to assess the relative effects of firms' structural and operational attributes on vulnerability and to compare the effectiveness of three mainstream resilience strategies-resistance, adaptation, and recovery-in mitigating the overall vulnerability of ISN. Furthermore, the interaction of resilience strategies initiated by different focal firms in the ISN is explored. The results suggest that focal firms should prioritize their own structural attributes and those of their neighboring firms to address vulnerabilities effectively. Moreover, focal firms can identify partners with higher reciprocity and engage in cooperation for resilience investment. This study contributes to the understanding of ISN vulnerability and provides practical insights for developing effective resilience strategies in complex supply networks.

The production and sales of electric vehicle lithium-ion batteries (EV LIB) have experienced rapid growth in the past decade, resulting in an extensive and intricate supply chain network (SCN). The SCNs orchestrated by different focal firms are interdependent due to the joint suppliers and customers. This interdependence, coupled with geographical segmentation, introduces vulnerability to the global EV LIB SCN. Focal firms need management insights from the multiplexity of the global EV LIB SCN to address the potential vulnerability. This investigation utilizes the empirical data regarding the supplier-buyer relationships of the top six EV LIB manufacturers in 2020 to construct the multilayered EV LIB SCN. Then, a focal firm-specific analysis is conducted to explore the multiplexity of the global EV LIB SCN, including identifying the influential firms, measuring the structure of SCNs led by different focal firms, and distinguishing the dependence and discrepancies of different focal firms' SCNs. Furthermore, an SCN vulnerability (SCNV) index was designed to assess the vulnerability of such a multilayered SCN in two disruption scenarios, i.e., single-country blockade and intercountry blockade. The structural analysis can assist focal firms in allocating vulnerability-coping resources more effectively. Besides, the assessment of SCNV can assist managers in identifying potential risk sources beyond their own SCNs.

Due to the indispensable role of electric vehicles (EVs) in achieving carbon neutrality, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) for EVs have attracted considerable attention in the context of a widely distributed raw material supply and cross-border LIB production. Most previous studies have focused on only one specific LIB-related commodity supply, ignoring the intricate dependent relationships among mineral resources, intermediate components, and finished products. To fill this gap, this study employs a multilayer network model to construct the global EV-LIB supply network from 1990 to 2020 and explores critical risk sources from static and dynamic network per-spectives. From the static perspective, the results based on the MultiRank algorithm reveal the critical position of countries, which are covered by single-layer-based indicators. The EV-LIB industry is shifting from upstream mineral resources to intermediate components and finished products (EV-LIBs and anodes). From the dynamic perspective, the impacts of risk sources and their risk transmission paths are revealed by the proposed dynamic shock propagation models under two realistic scenarios, i.e., supply restrictions on a specific commodity and blocked export channels. Some unremarkable shocks to a specific upstream commodity are revealed to have a substantial influence on downstream processes. Different effects of improving a country's anti-risk capacity on strengthening the robustness of the trade system are shown. The findings provide anti-risk support for policy -makers seeking to hedge supply risks, adjust industrial planning, and ensure industrial safety.

本发明属于道路建设环保评价技术领域,并公开了一种考虑环境负荷的沥青路面结构生态设计方法,包括:获取影响沥青路面结构的影响因素数据并构建若干初始沥青路面结构,获取技术参数数据和环境参数数据,对若干初始沥青路面结构分别进行结构验算,得到符合路面规范要求的沥青路面结构,基于环境参数数据对若干初始沥青路面结构进行环境负荷评价,得到环境负荷最小的沥青路面结构,对符合路面规范要求的沥青路面结构和环境负荷最小的沥青路面结构进行结合分析,得到符合路面性能要求的且环境负荷最小的沥青路面设计方案。本发明所述技术方案能够对沥青路面结构的环境性能进行定量和评价,进而得到符合要求且环境负荷小的沥青路面设计方案。

PurposeWith rapid industrialization and urbanization, municipal solid waste (MSW) management has become a serious challenge worldwide, especially in developing countries. The Beijing Municipality is a representative example of many local governments in China that are facing MSW management issues. Although there have been studies in the area of MSW management in the literature, less attention has been devoted to developing a structured framework that identifies and interprets the barriers to MSW management in megacities, especially in Beijing. Therefore, this study focuses on identifying a comprehensive list of barriers affecting the successful implementation of MSW management in Beijing.Design/methodology/approachThrough an extensive review of related literature, 12 barriers are identified and classified into five categories: government, waste, knowledge dissemination, MSW management process and market. Using an integrated approach including the decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), maximum mean de-entropy algorithm (MMDE) and interpretive structural modeling (ISM), a conceptual structural model of MSW implementation barriers is constructed to provide insights for industrial decision-makers and policymakers.FindingsThe results show that a lack of economic support from the government, imperfect MSW-related laws and regulations, the low education of residents and the lack of publicity of waste recycling knowledge are the main barriers to MSW management in Beijing. Combined with expert opinions, the paper provides suggestions and guidance to municipal authorities and industry practitioners to guide the successful implementation of MSW management.Practical implicationsThe findings of this study can provide a reference for MSW management in other metropolises in China and other developing countries.Originality/valueThis study proposes a hybrid DEMATEL-MMDE-ISM approach to resolve the subjectivity issues of the traditional ISM approach and it analyzes the barriers that hinder MSW management practices in Beijing.

本发明涉及一种有机无机杂化铜(I)卤化物闪烁体及其制备方法与应用,属于闪烁体材料技术领域。本发明有机无机杂化铜(I)卤化物闪烁体的化学通式为:AxCuyXz,其中A为PPh3CH3+或PPh3CH2CH3+,Cu为一价铜离子Cu+,X为卤素离子Br‑。本发明采用溶剂法制备的有机无机杂化铜(I)卤化物闪烁体更容易产生零维分子结构,晶格更松散柔软,因此激子‑声子耦合更强,带隙更窄,激子结合能更高,能够实现更高的PLQY和更大的斯托克斯位移,并且不含铅。以有机无机杂化铜(I)卤化物闪烁体制备的柔性闪烁屏可应用在X射线柔性探测中,具有较高的光产额、良好的X射线剂量线性响应和较低的探测限,能得到具有良好对比度的成像图片。

本发明提供一种VOCs抑制型沥青混合料环境技术性能的优化设计方法,包括以下步骤:S1确定沥青混合料的VOCs排放情况及其路用性能,并合理分配确定VOCs抑制型沥青混合料的环境‑技术性能指数指标计算的分项权重值;S2设计并初拟VOCs抑制剂种类及掺量;S3分析VOCs抑制型沥青混合料减排效果,并探讨VOCs抑制剂对路用性能的影响;S4不断反馈优化VOCs抑制型沥青混合料的设计方法,得到VOCs抑制型沥青混合料环境‑技术性能平衡的最佳设计方案。本发明所公开的设计方法实现了生态环境改善明显、沥青混合料路用性能达标、抑制剂对路用性能负面影响大幅降低,有益于今后沥青路面工程建设过程中环境‑技术性能平衡优化设计的实现。
