Information and communication technology (ICT) has become increasingly important worldwide in education. This study aims to recognize the factors that influence the intention to use information and communication technology (ITUICT) and its acceptance in the education sector in China. A literature review was conducted to ascertain the potential factors such as perceived awareness, information acquisition, trustworthiness, social influence, and regulatory support that could affect the acceptance and ITUICT. For results, a survey was conducted on a sample of 381 university employees in China using a convenience sampling approach. The collected data were analyzed using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that individual factors such as perceived awareness, information acquisition, trustworthiness, social influence, and regulatory support significantly impact the ITUICT. Additionally, trustworthiness positively moderates the relationship among perceived awareness, information acquisition, social influence, regulatory support, and ITUICT. Policymakers and educators can use the findings of this study to enhance the adoption of ICT in China's education sector. The results of this study suggest that it is important to provide educational sector employees with training and support to increase their use of ICT technology. Furthermore, this paper offers theoretical progression to create a supportive organizational culture and provide the educational sector with the necessary technological resources to facilitate the use of ICT.

The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) and the extensive use of social media have transformed how students engage with educational materials and interact with their peers. Collaborative learning (CL) platforms, empowered by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, have gained popularity due to their potential to enhance learning outcomes and provide personalised educational experiences. This research examines the effects of generative AI (ChatGPT-4) and social media use on young students' academic performance and psychological well-being, focusing on CL. The study conceptual framework was examined based on a sample of 441 Chinese university students. The statistical technique PLS-SEM is put into practice to measure the structural framework of academic performance and psychological well-being. The findings of this study show that generative AI (ChatGPT-4) and social media positively influence young students' academic performance and psychological well-being. Additionally, the results of this research study show that CL positively mediates between social media, academic performance and psychological well-being. Conversely, it negatively mediates the association between generative AI (ChatGPT-4), academic performance (AP), and psychological well-being. The findings can facilitate a better understanding of the implications of technologies in the educational context and subsequently aid in formulating evidence-based strategies to optimise their impact on students's academic success and well-being.

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and the ubiquity of social media have become transformative agents in contemporary educational ecosystems. The spotlight of this inquiry focuses on the nexus between AI and social media usage in relation to academic performance and mental well-being, and the role of smart learning in facilitating these relationships. Using partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) on a sample of 401 Chinese university students. The study results reveal that both AI and social media have a positive impact on academic performance and mental well-being among university students. Furthermore, smart learning serves as a positive mediating variable, amplifying the beneficial effects of AI and social media on both academic performance and mental well-being. These revelations contribute to the discourse on technology-enhanced education, showing that embracing AI and social media can have a positive impact on student performance and well-being.

In today's globalized and interconnected world, businesses operate within an interconnected network with various stakeholders. Among these stakeholders, the pressure from consumers, investors, regulators, and communities for corporations to adopt environmentally responsible practices has intensified significantly. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship between stakeholder pressure and environmental performance (EP) in Pakistan's manufacturing sector while examining the potential moderating roles of environmental reputation, social reputation, virtual CSR, and green credit. Data was gathered by convenience sampling and a crosssectional research approach. A structural questionnaire was given to 376 employees of manufacturing firms that are listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE). The research hypotheses were tested using PLS-SEM techniques, which examined the interactions between these variables. The results reveal that stakeholder pressure significantly influences the environmental performance of manufacturing firms. Environmental reputation and virtual CSR negatively moderate the relationship between stakeholder pressure and EP. Moreover, social reputation and green credit positively moderate the relationship between stakeholder pressure and EP. These results contribute to the existing literature by shedding light on how stakeholder pressure influences firms' environmental behavior. Practical implications include integrating virtual CSR strategies, securing green financing options, and building strong environmental and social reputations to effectively respond to stakeholder demands and improve environmental performance.

Super-partnerships exist between scholars connected within densely-knit collaboration networks. Understanding how such relationships affect scholars' careers is of great importance. In this paper, focusing on the longitudinal aspects of scientific collaboration, we analyze collaboration profiles from the egocentric perspective and use analytic extreme value thresholds to identify super-partners. A total of 5722 pairs of super-partners are found in the field of economics. The several interesting findings about super-partners are summarized as follows. (1) The collaboration pattern of super-partners can be divided into three types: the dual-core, bridge, and triangle types. (2) Gender disparities are reflected in the collaboration among super-partners, and the stability of super-partnerships involving different combinations of genders displays different characteristics. The random-effect model is constructed to explore the effect of a super-partnership on both parties from the aspects of productivity and influence, which also shows gender disparities. (3) A super-partnership contributes to above-average productivity and citation impacts of the publication for three collaboration patterns, and the research improvement of the triangle type is the greatest among the three types. Overall, this paper explores the characteristics of super-partners and the added value of a long-term commitment, which provides quantitative insights into the effect on scientific collaboration associated with close collaboration.

2015 witnessed the introduction of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) by the United Nations (UN). Few studies have been conducted on emerging technologies for international entrepreneurship, how these technologies are developed across sectors, or how they can enhance the global sustainability of businesses to support the 2030 sustainable agenda. Therefore, his study investigates the impact of antecedents of international entrepreneurship on the SDGs through the mediating role of emerging technologies, with a precise focus on the moderating role of a global mindset. Data was collected through a cross-sectional approach from 484 entrepreneurs in China. Collected data were analyzed using PLS-SEM techniques on the statistical software SmartPLS 4. The study findings reveal that key antecedents of international entrepreneurship significantly influence the SDGs. Moreover, emerging technologies act as a significant mediator between international entrepreneurship antecedents and SDGs. Additionally, a global mindset among entrepreneurs is found to be a significant moderator between emerging technologies and SDGs. This study adds to the existing literature by presenting empirical evidence on the interconnections between international entrepreneurship, emerging technologies, and sustainable organizational development. The implications of this study offer valuable understandings for entrepreneurs aiming to enhance their organizations' sustainable development through innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives.

Cryptocurrencies-i.e., digital or virtual currencies secured by cryptography based on blockchain technology, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum-have brought transformative changes to the global economic landscape. These innovative transaction methods have rapidly made their mark in the financial sector, reshaping the dynamics of the global economy. However, there remains a notable hesitation in its widespread acceptance and adoption, largely due to misconceptions and lack of proper guidance about its use. Such gaps in understanding create an opportunity to address these concerns. Using the technology acceptance model (TAM), this study develops a parsimonious model to explain the awareness, acceptance, and adoption of cryptocurrency. The model was assessed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 332 participants aged 18 to 40 years. The findings suggest that cryptocurrency awareness plays a direct, positive, and significant role in shaping cryptocurrency adoption and that this positive relationship is mediated by factors that exemplify cryptocurrency acceptance, namely the ease of use and usefulness of cryptocurrency. The results also reveal that trust is a significant factor that strengthens these direct and mediating relationships. These insights emphasize the necessity of fostering an informed understanding of cryptocurrencies to accelerate their broader adoption in the financial ecosystem. By addressing the misconceptions and reinforcing factors like ease of use, usefulness, and trust, policymakers and financial institutions can better position themselves to integrate and promote cryptocurrency in mainstream financial systems.

Based on the stimulus organism theory (S-O-R), the current study examines how the chatbot service quality influences e-brand loyalty among luxury fashion brand users and their adoption of it. In the current study, stimuli represent the chatbot service quality and chatbot awareness, prompting positive and negative emotional responses among Chinese users. However, these responses are influenced by the user's experience with chatbot usage, and trust is considered the organism in the S-O-R framework. In response to the user's ultimate trust, experience, electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and e-brand loyalty are enhanced. Similarly, our study framework is supported by the S-O-R theory. Data was gathered by convenience sampling and a cross-sectional research approach from 301 Chinese consumers of luxury fashion brands. The proposed relationships were tested using PLS-SEM through PLS-Smart software. The findings showed that AI-chatbot service quality significantly influences customer e-brand loyalty. Furthermore, chatbot user trust, experience, and electronic word of mouth significantly mediate the relationship between AI-chatbot service quality and customer e-brand loyalty. In a nutshell, applying S-O-R theory, our proposed model results provide valuable insights into the dynamics of AIchatbot-driven interactions among Chinese luxury fashion brand consumers. Further, it explains the pivotal role of AI-chatbot service quality in fostering customer trust and e-brand loyalty. Moreover, the current study contributes to theoretical and practical knowledge.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way human resources (HR) functions are carried out in the health sector of China. This study aims to scrutinize the impact of artificial intelligence on the human resource functions operating in the healthcare sector through technological awareness, social media influence, and personal innovativeness. Additionally, this study examines the moderating role of perceived risk between technological awareness and human resources functions. An online questionnaire was administered to human resources professionals in the health sector of China to gather data from 363 respondents. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), a statistical procedure, is implemented to investigate the hypothesis of the projected model of artificial intelligence and human resource functions. The research findings reveal that artificial intelligence significantly influences human resource functions through technological awareness, social media influence, and personal innovativeness. Furthermore, perceived risk significantly moderates the relationship between technological awareness and human resource functions. The findings of this study have important implications for HR practitioners and policymakers in the health sectors of China, who can leverage artificial intelligence technologies to optimize and improve organizational performance. However, its adoption needs to be carefully planned and managed to reap the full benefits of this transformative technology.
