一种结合变频离心泵的自适应太阳能热电转换系统,属于能源与环境领域。本发明包括平板太阳能集热器、冷、热流体罐、换热器、混合器、压缩机、加热器、回热器、低压透平、高压透平、变频器、储液罐、冷凝器。它们构成了太阳能集热循环、抽气热泵循环等。本发明能够实现低品位太阳能到电能的高效转换。采用平板太阳能集热器与抽气热泵循环相结合的方式,能够降低成本,提升低品位热能利用率;热泵循环中,以透平膨胀机替代传统节流阀,结合抽气回热措施,能够降低压缩机功耗,同时实现能量的部分回收;本发明能够实现太阳辐射波动情况下,系统运行工况自适应调整;利用回热器将动力循环与热泵循环深度耦合,实现热能的梯级利用。

一种基于太阳能的分布式能源系统,属于能源与环境领域。本发明包括高温太阳能集热器、高压储罐、闪蒸器、高压级透平、冷凝器、混合罐、循环泵、节流阀、低压级透平、低压级换热器、工质泵、生活热水箱、冷却塔、蓄电模块。它们构成了双闪蒸直热式循环、有机朗肯循环、储电回路、三个冷却水循环回路和两个智能控制回路。本发明实现对高温太阳能的梯级利用,满足用户用电及生活热水需求。采用高温太阳能集热器直接加热循环工质,结合两级闪蒸与有机朗肯循环,实现热能的梯级利用;考虑生活热水需求,采用多回路冷却系统实现热能充分利用;引入智能控制回路,实现系统多参数运行调节,保证高效运行;考虑能源间歇性,结合蓄电模块,保证供能稳定性。

The Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) system is a promising energy storage technology that has the advantages of low investment cost, high safety, long life, and is clean and non-polluting. The compressor/expander is the core equipment of the CAES system, and its performance has a decisive impact on the overall system efficiency and economic performance. Based on the pneumatic motor, this study proposes and designs a test bench of the CAES system that integrates compression and expansion functions. The off-design operation condition represented by the pressure change in the air tank has an important influence on the efficiency and economy of the CAES system. The effect of key parameters such as air tank pressure, torque, and mass flow rate on the output and efficiency of the compressor is investigated. When the CAES system is operating in energy storage mode, the compressor must continuously deliver gas to the gas storage. The working pressure of the compressor increases with the pressure in the air tank, so the compressor used for energy storage must operate continuously over a wide range of working conditions. The parallel operation mode of the compressor is proposed to improve the working condition range of the compressor torque and current, and improve the isotropic efficiency. When the air receiver pressure is 2.6 bar and the rotational speed is 2850 r/min, the power consumption of the compressor reaches the maximum value of approximately 1233.1 W. This new parallel mode could provide a CAES unit a systematic solution.

Compressed air energy storage (CAES) possesses the advantages of high reliability, good economic performance, longer discharge time, extended service life, and comprehensive utilization of heat, cold, and electricity. In this study, a CAES test bench based on a pneumatic motor (PM) is built, and the output performance of the CAES system is investigated under the variable working conditions represented by the change of the compressed air pressure and the fluctuation of the load demand. The effects of major parameters like torque, voltage, current, rotation speed, and regulated pressure on the power output and energy efficiency of the PM and generator are analyzed. By the evaluation of learning rate difference, number of hidden layer neural networks, and training function, a prediction model of CAES based on artificial neural network (ANN) is developed. By checking the mean-square error and related coefficient, the ANN model is validated by subsequent experimental results. Finally, to predict the maximum power output and energy efficiency of the PM and generator, genetic algorithm is supplemented for the parameters optimization. From the result, it can be found that the high power output range of the PM is concentrated in the low voltage, high current and medium-to-high rotation speed regions. Likewise, the low compressed air consumption rate of PM is concentrated mainly in the regions of low voltage, low rotation speed, high current and high torque. When the regulated pressure reaches 10.5 bar and the current value sync reaches 13 A, PM can generate a maximum output power of approximate 658 W.

Compressed air energy storage system has the advantages of high reliability, low cost, flexible layout, and negligible environmental impact. Meanwhile, the low efficiency of compressed air energy storage system is a key obstacle currently faced by researchers all around the world. Compressor and expander are the key components of compressed air energy storage system; thus, their efficiency directly affects the compressed air energy storage system efficiency. In order to improve the economic performance of compressed air energy storage system, this study proposes an expander/compressor integration based on pneumatic motor. The overall performance of the compressor under dynamic conditions, which are represented by the pressure change of the air tank and the load fluctuation, is investigated through experiments. The effect of torque, air tank pressure, mass flow rate, and rotating speed on compressor power consumption and energy conversion efficiency are studied. The experimental results show that the power consumed by the compressor increases with the increasing of torque, air tank pressure, mass flow rate, and rotating speed. When the rotation speed is 2700 r/min and the torque is 4N.m, the work consumed by the compressor reaches the maximum value of approximately 1095 W. The maximum energy efficiency value of eta(1), eta(2), eta(3), and eta(4) are approximately 73.7%, 90%, 56.8%, and 52%, respectively.

Accurate state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH) estimation is very important to ensure safe and efficient operation of electric vehicle battery system. In this study, an improved co-estimation method of SOC and SOH based on a fractional model is proposed. A fractional second-order model is established. The identification of model parameters (including the order of fractional elements) is realized by adaptive genetic algorithm and the SOC is estimated using multi-innovations unscented Kalman filter (MIUKF). At the same time, the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) is used to predict SOH to update the actual capacity of the SOC estimator. The effectiveness of the proposed co-estimation method is validated by experiment data under different test cycles and battery aging degrees. The results show that the root mean square error of SOC at 25 degrees C is less than 0.38% under different test cycles, and the root mean square error of SOH is less than 0.002%. Compared with UKF, fractional-order unscented Kalman filter and fractional-order MIUKF, the SOC estimation error of the proposed method is the lowest. Under different aging degree, the root mean square error of SOC and SOH at 25 degrees C is lower than 1.21% and 0.007%, respectively. It indicates that the proposed method has good adaptability and high accuracy.

In this study, a battery test platform is built to study and analyze the battery model. A fractional-order model (FOM) of battery is developed by combining the second-order equivalent circuit model with fractional calculus theory. By combining the multi-innovation with the unscented Kalman filter algorithm based on FOM, a fractional-order multi innovation unscented Kalman filter algorithm is proposed. Under different temperatures and dynamic conditions, the tracking of terminal voltage and the estimation results of SOC using the proposed algorithm are compared and analyzed. In order to verify the accuracy and robustness of the proposed algorithm, the tracking effect of the terminal voltage and the estimation results of SOC under different initial SOC values are investigated. The experimental results indicate that the FOM is more accurate than the integer-order model in reflecting the battery characteristics. Under different temperatures, dynamic conditions, and initial SOC values, the values of mean absolute error (MAE) and root mean squared error (RMSE) of the proposed algorithm are the lowest, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The maximum values of MAE and RMSE of SOC estimation results of the proposed algorithm are 1.04 % and 0.9122 %, respectively, indicating that the proposed algorithm has high accuracy and good robustness.

Microscale compressed air energy storage is not dependent on geographical environment, exhibits a flexible layout, and is especially suitable for distributed energy systems. Herein, a test bench of microscale compressed air energy storage is established. The effects of key parameters, such as regulated pressure, current, voltage, and rotating speed, on the output performance of a pneumatic motor (PM) and generator are examined. The power performance, economic performance, and energy efficiency of the PM in forward and reverse rotations are also investigated. The differences in the output performances of the PM and generator under the forward and reverse rotations of the PM are analyzed. Experimental results show that the PM's power performance, economy, and efficiency in forward rotation are greater than those in reverse rotation. The power output of the generator with the PM in forward rotation is greater than that in reverse rotation. The maximum values of the power output and efficiency and the minimum compressed air consumption rate of the PM are 650 W, 6.92%, and 0.165 g J(-1), respectively. The maximum efficiency of the generator is 94.35%.

This study simulates the polarization effect during the process of battery charging and discharging, and investigates the characteristics of the process. A fractional-order model (FOM) is established and the parameters of the FOM are identified with the adaptive genetic algorithm. As Kalman filter estimation causes error accumulation over time, using the fractional-order multi-innovation unscented Kalman filter (FOMIUKF) is a better choice for state of charge (SOC) estimation. A comparative study shows that the FOMIUKF has higher accuracy. A multiple timescales-based joint estimation algorithm of SOC and state of health is established to improve SOC estimation precision and reduce the amount of computation. The FOMIUKF algorithm is used for SOC estimation, while the UKF algorithm is used for SOH estimation. The joint estimation algorithm is then compared and analyzed alongside other Kalman filter algorithms under different dynamic operating conditions. Experimental results show that the joint estimation algorithm possesses high estimation accuracy with a mean absolute error of under 1% and a root mean square error of 1.35%.

Extended range electric vehicles (EREVs) are an effective solution to solve the lack of driving range of pure electric vehicles. Reducing the fuel consumption of EREVs and prolonging the service lifetime of battery play a positive role in solving environmental pollution and energy crisis. In this paper, hybrid energy storage system (HESS) is introduced into EREVs, and two energy management strategies based on HESS are proposed to reduce fuel consumption and prolonging the service life of battery. This paper proposes two energy management strategies for EREVs based on a HESS to reduce fuel consumption and the amount of energy flowing through the battery. HESS adopts the rule based energy management strategy, whereas Auxiliary power unit (APU) adopts the equivalent fuel consumption minimization strategy (ECMS) or the rule-based energy management strategy as its first and second hierarchical energy management strategies respectively, both of which are embedded into the charge depleting/charge sustaining (CD/CS) control strategy. A simulation model for an EREV is built in AVL Cruise to verify the effectiveness of these strategies. The battery charge and discharge C-rate and the energy consumption of EREVs without HESS under the ECMS and rule-based energy management strategy are then compared. Results show that under the first hierarchical energy management strategy, the average discharge C-rate and cumulative ampere hours of the battery are the lowest, thereby reducing its operating load and extending its service lifetime. Meanwhile, for those EREVs without HESS, using the rule-based energy management strategy can reduce fuel consumption by 11.33%, whereas using ECMS increases fuel consumption by no more than 1.61%. Therefore, the first hierarchical energy management strategy proposed in this study can effectively extend the service lifetime of the battery and reduce the fuel economy of EREVs.
