颗粒阻尼技术因减振效果好、作用频带宽等优点使其在土木工程领域中具有良好的应用前景,然而因其具有高度复杂的非线性力学特性,并缺少合理的力学模型,限制了其在实际工程中的应用和发展。鉴于此,以土木工程应用为背景,在不考虑阻尼颗粒发生堆积的前提下,通过引入惯容器来考虑颗粒群滚动对阻尼器减振机理及减振效果影响,建立了考虑惯容的多颗粒阻尼器等效单颗粒力学模型;结合颗粒运动状态,分别进行了未碰撞时及碰撞发生后多颗粒阻尼器单自由度结构的响应分析,重点探讨了惯容系数对未碰撞时动力放大系数频响曲线及碰撞发生后周期2次碰撞稳态解析解的影响规律,并采用数值仿真和试验方法进行验证。结果表明,考虑惯容属性后等效模型能够进...

Particle dampers have good performance of vibration control and noise reduction, and they have been widely studied and applied in the field of high-frequency vibration control, such as aviation and mechanical engineering. However, the vibration characteristics of civil engineering structures are usually low frequency and low amplitude, which restricts the performance of particle dampers. A new type of particle damper, namely the multiple unidirectional single-particle damper (MUSPD), is advanced based on the comparative analysis of the construction characteristics, damping performance, and damping mechanism of a single-particle damper and multiparticle damper. Based on the analysis of the damping mechanism of MUSPD and the integral consideration of the stress state of particles, the mechanical model of MUSPD is established, and an efficient numerical calculation method with variable step size is proposed. For harmonic excitation, the relationship between the optimal motion distance of a particle and other parameters is established by theoretical analysis. In addition, the optimization analysis method of MUSPD subjected to ground motions is proposed, and the rationality and accuracy are all verified. The results show that MUSPD has a better damping effect than a classical particle damper. Because the MUSPD belongs to acceleration (force)-related dampers, the energy of the controlled structure will be transferred as long as the particles collide with the controlled structure, and the frequency richness and randomness of the ground motion spectrum enhance the probability of particles colliding with the controlled structure. Moreover, the site effect has no obvious influence on the damping effect of MUSPD, and it is more suitable for middle- and low-rise structures.

This study developed a special energy dissipation X-bracing for cold-formed steel (CFS) shear walls to improve the ductility of the corrugated steel sheathing. In previous research, CFS shear walls with corrugated sheathing demonstrated poor ductility under cyclic loading. The paper presents a potential solution by adding a special energy dissipation bracing (EDB) to improve the ductility of the corrugated sheet-sheathed shear walls. The EDB can be tuned according to the CFS shear wall base performance to achieve the highest postpeak deflection capacity, thereby significantly improving the seismic ductility. To prove the concept and analyze the feasibility of the new EDB, a test program of nine full-scale shear walls was conducted. The experimental results showed that with the tuned EDB, the corrugated steel sheet-sheathed shear walls had improved ductility with no considerable reduction in the initial stiffness and shear strength. Installing the proposed EDB can be an efficient approach to enhance the seismic performance of CFS-framed shear walls. Details of the test program and discussion are presented.

在现有多颗粒阻尼器(M-PD)等效单颗粒力学模型研究基础上,通过引入惯容考虑颗粒群滚动对M-PD减振效果的影响,建立了考虑惯容的等效惯性单颗粒模型(EISM),并基于Runge-Kutta算法建立了简谐激励及地震激励下M-PD单自由度结构运动状态的完整求解算法.设计进行了M-PD控制下的单层钢框架振动台试验,探究了不同颗粒填充率对结构顶层位移频响曲线的影响,提出了非堆积状态下EISM参数取值原则,进而进行了EISM模型的试验验证及基于既有等效单颗粒模型的数值对比分析;在模型验证的基础上,基于EISM进行了自由振动、简谐激励及地震作用下减振效果分析及能量变化规律分析.模型验证及减振效果分析结果表明:相比较于现有等效单颗粒力学模型,EISM模型能够进一步反映M-PD减振效果及减振机理,且提出的模型参数取值原则更加适应于非堆积状态下的M-PD数值模拟;不同激励情况下M-PD均具有较好的减振效果,但在最优碰撞间距取值下现有等效单颗粒模型可能会高估M-PD减振效果.

Seismic performance of fabricated concrete piers with grouted sleeve joints and bearing-capacity estimation method SCIE

The seismic performance and design method of fabricated concrete bridge piers limit their applications in complex and harsh environments. In this study, a continuous bridge pier in an 8-degree seismic fortification intensity area was considered as a prototype. Two 1/3-scale models were designed and manufactured. The specimens were connected via a grouted sleeve connections (SFP) and a grouted sleeve prestressing tendon composite connections (SSFP), respectively. Moreover, a cast-in-place 1/3-scale model (reinforcement concrete pier, RCP) was designed as a comparison specimen. Quasi-static experiments were performed on these three specimens. The seismic performance of the specimens was analysed according to the failure phenomena, bearing capacity, displacement ductility, stiffness, energy-dissipation capacity, and residual deformation. On these basis, a bearing-capacity estimation method for SFP (including SSFP) was developed and validated. The results indicated that the damage to the SFP and SSFP mainly accumulated along the top and bottom of the sleeves. The plastic hinge area of the SFP and SSFP moved up or down. Thus, the damage to the SFP and SSFP was concentrated at the joints. Cracks first occurred at the seam of the two fabricated specimens when the loading drift was relatively small. Then, the concrete at the loading edge of the joints was crushed. Furthermore, the longitudinal bars yielded and broke. Finally, the specimens failed. Compared with the RCP, the SFP and the SSFP had larger yield and ultimate displacements. The bearing capacities of the RCP and the SFP were similar. However, the bearing capacity of the SSFP was significantly higher. The bearing capacities of the SFP and SSFP did not decrease significantly before the specimens failed. Compared with the RCP, the SFP had a lower initial stiffness, a lower stiffness degradation rate, similar displacement ductility, smaller residual displacement, and less cumulative energy dissipation. The SSFP was better than the SFP with regard to the displacement ductility, initial stiffness, and cumulative energy dissipation. Thus, the SFP and SSFP can satisfy the seismic requirements of high-intensity areas. The proposed bearing-capacity estimation method can be used for the seismic design and evaluation of SFPs and SSFPs.

桥梁伸缩装置(以下简称伸缩缝)使用环境恶劣、受荷形式复杂,易出现多种病害.伸缩缝病害会造成桥梁耐久性降低,车致桥梁动力响应加重等不利现象.因此,伸缩缝病害机理及其处置方法和考虑伸缩缝参数影响的车-桥耦合动力响应规律研究受到了广泛关注.本文综述了桥梁伸缩缝力学性能,常见病害及其影响,病害机理及其处置方法等的发展现状;重点讨论了考虑伸缩缝参数及其变化影响的桥梁动力响应的研究进展及存在的问题;展望了未来桥梁伸缩缝研究中有待解决的关键问题.
