A high-precision testing bench is required for accurately assessing the dynamic Transmission error (TE) of precision reducers. However, the relationship between the testing bench's accuracy and deviations in testing conditions has not been determined, leading to an inaccurate evaluation of its metrological performance. In this study, we examined the accuracy characteristics of the testing bench. We analyzed the structure of the bench and identified the main error sources that affect its accuracy, including mechanical system deviation, sensor measurement deviation, and testing condition deviation. In addition, we studied the mechanism of these error sources and proposed a method to convert drive speed deviation and load torque deviation into angle deviation by using a three-dimensional characterization model of lost motion. Based on the expression of TE, we proposed an evaluation method for the accuracy of the testing bench. Furthermore, we presented the methods for calculating the error sources and proposed a method for determining the TE of adjacent units based on the specific coupling structure. Finally, we conducted practical tests to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in evaluating the accuracy characteristics of the testing bench. We found that the relative test error between quasi-static TE and dynamic TE is small, and more accurate test results are obtained when applying an appropriate load.

A Novel Method for Obtaining Analytical Parameters Based on Double-Flank Measurement SCIE

Double-flank measurement is the most commonly used method for full inspection of mass-produced gears and has high measurement efficiency, but it cannot obtain the analytical parameters and is not helpful enough to evaluate the NVH performance of the gears. Based on the double-flank rolling tester with a new principle, a simulation method for double-flank measurement and a solving method for analytical parameters are proposed. Using the simulation method, the double-flank measurements without random error can be obtained through the collision detection algorithm. The solving method uses the iteration to obtain the minimum rolling length of each position of the tooth surface, then obtains the analytical parameters of the gear. In the experiments, the difference between the profile deviations obtained by the solving method and superimposed in the simulation method is less than 0.03 mu m. The experiment results have verified the correctness of the simulation method and the solving method. These methods can greatly improve the value of double-flank measurement.

In a laser-tracing measurement system, the tracking control performance largely determines the measurement accuracy. However, the continuous forward and reverse movements of the system required for the tracking process, frictional torque, and external disturbances affect the tracking performance. In addition, when a two-dimensional position-sensitive detector extracts the target information, the required quantity of light intensity accumulation and circuit processing time lead to a time delay in obtaining the position deviation. In this study, we propose a tracking control method based on compound fuzzy control (CFC) and friction torque compensation (FTC) to enhance the control performance. To compensate for the position lag and frictional torque in the system and to enhance the tracking and anti-interference performance, a compound fuzzy control method based on position feedforward control and dual-mode control was employed. In this study, a field-oriented control strategy was used to achieve tracking control in a laser- tracking control system. In this method, the speed loop adopted a variable-universe fuzzy proportional-integral (VUFPI) control strategy with friction torque compensation, whereas the position loop employed a compound fuzzy control strategy. The simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the improved CFC-(VUFPI+FTC) cascade control method offers better tracking performance than the traditional proportional-integral cascade control method. The rotational-axis tracking speed of the laser-tracking control system improved by 84.6%, while the pitch axis tracking speed increased by 93%.

Intelligent Inspection Method and System of Plastic Gear Surface Defects Based on Adaptive Sample Weighting Deep Learning Model SCIE

After injection molding, plastic gears often exhibit surface defects, including those on end faces and tooth surfaces. These defects encompass a wide range of types and possess complex characteristics, which pose challenges for inspection. Current visual inspection systems for plastic gears suffer from limitations such as single-category defect inspection and low accuracy. There is an urgent industry need for a comprehensive and accurate method and system for inspecting defects on plastic gears, with improved inspection capability and higher accuracy. This paper presents an intelligent inspection algorithm network for plastic gear defects (PGD-net), which effectively captures subtle defect features at arbitrary locations on the surface compared to other models. An adaptive sample weighting method is proposed and integrated into an improved Focal-IoU loss function to address the issue of low inspection accuracy caused by imbalanced defect dataset distributions, thus enhancing the regression accuracy for difficult defect categories. CoordConv layers are incorporated into each inspection head to improve the model's generalization capability. Furthermore, a dataset of plastic gear surface defects comprising 16 types of defects is constructed, and our algorithm is trained and tested on this dataset. The PGD-net achieves a comprehensive mean average precision (mAP) value of 95.6% for the 16 defect types. Additionally, an online inspection system is developed based on the PGD-net algorithm, which can be integrated with plastic gear production lines to achieve online full inspection and automatic sorting of plastic gear defects. The entire system has been successfully applied in plastic gear production lines, conducting daily inspections of over 60,000 gears.

Research on the Control Method of a Brushless DC Motor Based on Second-Order Active Disturbance Rejection Control SCIE

This research addresses the issues of weak anti-disturbance ability, fast response, and incompatibility of overshoot in the control process of brushless DC motors (BLDCs). A six-step commutation control method based on second-order active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) is derived following the analysis of the BLDC model and the mathematical model of ADRC. A control model of the BLDC using both PI and ADRC is constructed. Detailed comparative and quantitative analyses of the simulation results using PI and ADRC are conducted, focusing on the anti-load disturbance capabilities using the integrated square error (ISE), integrated time square error (ITSE), integrated absolute error (IAE), and integrated time absolute error (ITAE). Experimental testing on the STM32F4 controller is also carried out, analyzing four error integral criteria in depth. The results indicate that both the ADRC and PI control modes can track the target signal without overshooting, demonstrating strong anti-load disturbance ability and robustness at varying working speeds. In the BLDC control system, using the ADRC control method can achieve fast and non-overshoot tracking of target signals compared to the PI control method, and ADRC has stronger resistance to load disturbances.

Line laser 3D measurement of gears (LL3DMG) is a critical technology that enables the rapid acquisition of full 3D tooth surface data. This method compensates for the limitations of traditional measurement techniques, which rely on a limited number of points and lines on the tooth surface and involve small sample data processing methods in gear inspection. Instead, it truly reflects the complex 3D topography of the tooth surface, including the size and modification of gears. This article provides a summary and analysis of the main manufacturers of line laser sensors (LLSs), emphasizing their distinct designs and features. It also reveals the prominent role and developmental trends of LLSs in contemporary intelligent manufacturing sectors. Furthermore, based on different application scenarios and equipped devices, a comprehensive analysis and comparison of six different solutions, as well as our team's solution, were conducted. Each solution exhibited unique advantages. This further elaborates on the research status and development trends of LL3DMG-related technologies. This article also introduces the key methodological elements, such as the optical characteristics of the LLSs, pose parameter calibration, measurement pose characteristics, and 3D measurement data preprocessing in LL3DMG, along with possible solutions. Additionally, the challenges associated with LL3DMG are summarized and analyzed, and future research prospects for LL3DMG are analyzed in five main aspects: (1) enhancing and ensuring measurement accuracy, (2) combining intelligence for effective fusion and applications, (3) exploiting and utilizing big data on gear surfaces at depth, (4) facilitating miniaturization and portability of sensors and integration and networking of system, and (5) establishing a gear measurement cloud platform. In summary, these advancements also will present fresh opportunities for the LL3DMG and related fields to develop innovative technologies and products that cater to a wide range of applications.

本发明公开了一种精密减速器,包括底座、输入端球轴承、平面沟槽凸轮、圆柱凸轮、摆杆、片齿、深沟球轴承、输出齿轮、输出法兰、输出端球轴承、上端盖。所述精密减速器是两级减速型。第一级减速发生在平面沟槽凸轮与摆杆之间,第二级减速发生在摆杆和片齿之间。本发明打破了传统减速器所采用的多个齿轮啮合传动,将凸轮和齿轮巧妙的结合在一起;此外,改善了传统减速器因轮齿的接触面积小而导致各齿轮的轮齿所受的合成应力较大,相对于传统齿轮系,齿轮的工作寿命更长。和目前常用的工业机器人关节精密减速器相比,在结构简单紧凑,尺寸小的同时,能够传递更大的扭矩,实现大减速比的传动,可满足工业机器人关节对于高精密减速器的需求。

本发明公开了一种分段式内外啮合齿圈,包括齿圈本体和限位杆。齿圈本体外侧有一外齿轮的齿槽,齿槽侧面齿廓为渐开线,底面为圆弧面,齿圈本体内侧为较小模数的内齿轮,齿圈本体的侧面开有螺纹孔,限位杆一端通过该孔与齿圈本体连接,另一端可安装凸轮随动器等标准件用于导向。本发明提供的分段式内外啮合齿圈具有内外两侧的齿廓,同时实现内啮合和外啮合,能在较小空间内实现多级传动,将完整齿圈设计为分段式结构,通过限位杆控制不同段齿圈沿轴向独立运动,进而实现更复杂的传动。外侧的单个齿槽通过啮合的方式传动,当其为渐开线传动时,压力角不变,稳定性优于连杆等其他传动方式。
