Research on the Data Transmission Methods in the Magneto-Thermal Coupling Model for Eddy Current Braking SCIE

The eddy current braking (ECB) is often installed on heavy-duty vehicles as the auxiliary braking component. When it works for a long time, the thermal derating of braking torque will reach about 18.5 % due to high temperature. It is important to establish an accurate magneto-thermal coupling model for the ECB high-temperature steady-state braking torque prediction. In multi-field coupling calculation, there are two commonly used data transmission methods between two physics fields. One of them is transmitting average data to important geometry based on the idea of lumped parameters (lumped parameters method), and the other is mapping the data distribution to each grid cell (direct mapping method). This paper takes the ECB as the research object, analyzes the influence of the above two data transmission methods, and proposes to replace the fluid-thermal coupling model with the heat conduction model in the magneto-thermal coupling model. Through calculation and analysis, using the lumped parameters method to transmit the heat generation rate, temperature and convective heat transfer coefficient all have a certain impact on the calculation accuracy of the coupling model comparing with the direct mapping method.

为保证在长下坡工况时的安全行驶,重载车辆普遍安装液力缓速器或电涡流缓速器.液力缓速器(液缓)低速特性差,单独使用难以满足重载车辆在低车速下长坡时对辅助制动系统的需求,而电涡流缓速器(电缓)在高速时扭矩小,由此得出:电缓与液缓两者的制动性能具有互补的特点.结合液力制动及电涡流制动机理,将电缓与液缓一体化设计,获得了一种径向构造的电液复合缓速器(简称电液复合缓速器).该缓速器在低转速下主要依靠电涡流缓速部分制动,在高速时依靠电涡流缓速部分及液力缓速部分共同作用.对试制的样机进行台架试验,研究了电液复合缓速器的制动特性和控制方法.同时,建立车辆仅依靠缓速器制动的动力学模型,并根据试验结果建立了考虑响...

Study on the Heat Source Insulation of a Thermal Bubble-Driven Micropump with Induction Heating SCIE

Thermal bubble-driven micropumps have the advantages of high reliability, simple structure and simple fabrication process. However, the high temperature of the thermal bubble may damage some biological or chemical properties of the solution. In order to reduce the influence of the high temperature of the thermal bubbles on the pumped liquid, this paper proposes a kind of heat insulation micropump driven by thermal bubbles with induction heating. The thermal bubble and its chamber are designed on one side of the main pumping channel. The high temperature of the thermal bubble is insulated by the liquid in the heat insulation channel, which reduces the influence of the high temperature of the thermal bubble on the pumped liquid. Protypes of the new micropump with heat source insulation were fabricated and experiments were performed on them. The experiments showed that the temperature of the pumped liquid was less than 35 degrees C in the main pumping channel.

Research on Heat Dissipation Optimization of a Novel Liquid-Cooling Eddy Current Brake EI

As an auxiliary brake element, the eddy current brake is widely used to ensure safe driving in heavy vehicles due to its noncontact braking characteristics. It is important to increase the power density of the eddy current brake and suppress the thermal derating of its braking performance. According to the principle of the eddy current braking and current skin effect, a decline in temperature can greatly increase the eddy current density of the low-frequency electromagnetic device. In this paper, a new heat dissipation method is proposed to cool the heating surface of the eddy current brake directly. The electromagnetic field model and the flow-heat coupling model are established to predict and analyze the steady-state temperature distribution and braking torque. A new type of internal liquid cooling eddy current brake prototype was manufactured for a bench test. The experimental data prove that the computational model is effective. The calculation results show that the new internal liquid cooling eddy current brake has improved heat dissipation advantages. © 1986-2012 IEEE.

带电涡流缓速车桥的铰接车辆制动稳定性研究 CSCD

为解决铰接车辆主制动系统的制动力不足和制动稳定性差的问题,将液冷式电涡流缓速器与车桥融合设计,构建了一种电涡流缓速车桥,以避免重载挂车的制动出现"冲撞"和"折叠"现象。对电涡流缓速车桥进行了台架试验,对比分析了空载和满载时安装于牵引车和挂车上的缓速器的制动稳定性。结果表明:车辆在空载,尤其是满载时,安装在挂车上的电涡流缓速车桥比安装在牵引车上的缓速器更能使车辆有良好的制动稳定性和安全性。

针对传统电涡流缓速器制动力矩热衰退严重,液力缓速器结构复杂、价格高以及拖挂车辆缓速器安装位置的特殊性,提出了一种自励式车桥电磁液冷缓速器.研究了自励式车桥缓速器的结构特点和工作原理,利用电磁学原理推导出缓速器气隙磁密和制动力矩的公式,建立制动系统和发电系统的数学分析模型,对制动系统的磁路和发电系统的性能进行分析.设计了2 000 N·m自励式车桥缓速器的三维模型,利用有限元法对其电磁场分布、制动力矩和发电特性等进行瞬态仿真分析,得出影响制动力矩和发电性能的相关因素.最后对自励式车桥缓速器样机进行台架试验,对缓速器样机制动特性和发电特性进行测试,并将测试结果与理论计算结果进行对比,得出测试结果与...

本发明公开了一种永磁励磁的驼峰车辆减速器,属于铁路调速技术领域。该驼峰车辆减速器包括制动部分和气缸部分。制动部分包括摩擦板、盖板和复位弹簧;气缸部分包括顶盖、永磁体组、隔磁板、底座和连接头,永磁体组件包括上衔铁、永磁体和下衔铁。该驼峰车辆减速器通过永磁体的磁力作用产生制动,包括涡流制动和摩擦制动,其利用气缸实现磁路的通断,进而控制工作状态,结构简单、操作简单。本发明所述的驼峰车辆减速器将涡流制动和传统机械制动结合,结构简单,安全系数更高、寿命更长、节约能源、制动效果更好。

As an auxiliary braking device, the eddy current retarder (ECR) has been widely used in heavy vehicles and can effectively protect the friction braking system. In order to solve the problem of articulated vehicle stability, an eddy current retarder axle (ECRA) is designed by integrating the ECR and the axle, which directly brakes the trailer. In order to increase the braking stability of the articulated vehicle, the differential braking characteristics of the ECRA is studied, and the vehicle body status is maintained through reasonable differential braking control (DBC). In this paper, the differential braking performance curve of the ECRA is studied, the mathematical model of the articulated vehicle is established. The experimental data of ECRA combined with the Sinmulik-TruckSim co-simulation method, the differential braking effect of the ECRA on the vehicle is analyzed, the stability of the vehicle is further studied.

Aiming at the complex manufacturing processes of the traditional hydraulic retarder structures such as axial inclined blade, closed torus, inlet and outlet channel, a new retarder structure with vertical blade and dual torus was proposed, which greatly simplified the manufacturing processes. By establishing the mathematical model and using computational fluid dynamics technology, the change rules of retarder braking torques were obtained and verified by bench test. The results show that: the change rules of the braking torques of the novel retarders are basically the same as that of the traditional retarders, the braking torques of the novel retarders reach 1 490 N•m at 1 750 r/min, and the change rules are similar to the calculation. The relative errors are less than 12%, which confirmes the reliability of the calculation. In conclusion, the braking performance of this retarder basically satisfies with the vehicle requirements for braking torque and braking stability. © 2020, China Mechanical Engineering Magazine Office. 本发明公开一种面向铰接车辆的液力缓速桥无线通信控制系统及方法,属于汽车辅助制动技术领域。包括牵引车驾驶室电子控制系统、挂车液力缓速桥电子控制系统、水路气路系统和控制方法,牵引车驾驶室电子控制系统与挂车液力缓速桥电子控制系统通信采用无线通信技术,实现驾驶室远距离控制挂车液力缓速桥的目标,避免传统信号线在铰接位置断裂而产生控制失效的风险。本发明控制系统结构简单且可靠性高,能实现远程控制通讯,减少传统的远距离线路布置。控制方法上能避免在制动过程中产生折叠、甩尾等危险工况,增加铰接车辆制动稳定性,智能化程度高,具备实时速度保护和温度保护的功能。
