摘要 :
Plasmonic structural color generated by the interaction between light and plasmonic nanostructures has emerged as a promising approach for color printing. However, achieving full color and large-scale plasmonic color printing device with a convenient and low-cost way remains a challenge. To circumvent this constraint, we propose to fabricate a centimeter-scale plasmonic color printing device based on anodic aluminum oxide template and vacuum evaporation technology. The plasmonic structure consists of Ag nanoparticle array on Al substrate. By controlling the thickness of evaporating Ag layer and the annealing temperature, a wide range of color palettes has been achieved. Furthermore, this device can be rewritable and reused based on its temperature sensitivity. This unique characteristic may have great potential in various applications such as anti-counterfeiting labels, plasmonic color printing, data encryption, and sensors.

摘要 :
The preparation of electrocatalysts with high performance for the ethanol oxidation reaction is vital for the large-scale commercialization of direct ethanol fuel cells. Here, we successfully synthesized a high-performance electrocatalyst of a AuPd alloy with a decreased alloying degree via pulsed laser irradiation in liquids. As indicated by the experimental results, the photochemical effect-induced surficial deposition of Pd atoms, combined with the photothermal effect-induced interdiffusion of Au and Pd atoms, resulted in the formation of AuPd alloys with a decreased alloying degree. Structural characterization reveals that L-AuPd exhibits a lower degree of alloying compared to C-AuPd prepared via the conventional co-reduction method. This distinct structure endows L-AuPd with outstanding catalytic activity and stability in EOR, achieving mass and specific activities as high as 16.01 A mgPd-1 and 20.69 mA cm-2, 9.1 and 5.2 times than that of the commercial Pd/C respectively. Furthermore, L-AuPd retains 90.1% of its initial mass activity after 300 cycles. This work offers guidance for laser-assisted fabrication of efficient Pd-based catalysts in EOR.

一种片上集成的微波光子相位编码信号生成系统涉及微波光子技术领域。系统包含激光器、功分器、射频RF开关、90°混合耦合器HC、双平行双偏振马赫‑曾德尔调制器DP‑DPMZM、偏振相关级联相位调制器PDC‑PM、偏振光片、掺铒光纤放大器和光电探测器。本方法将本振LO信号通过功分器分成两部分,其中一部分输入到X‑DPMZM中,获得LO信号的载波抑制+1阶边带。另一部分由RF开关控制,当RF开关断开时,Y‑DPMZM仅输出光载波;当RF开关闭合时,Y‑DPMZM输出LO信号的‑1阶边带。然后,两路偏振正交信号输入到PDC‑PM,该PDC‑PM由两个独立的编码信号驱动,当改变编码信号振幅和模式时,经过光电探测器可获得载波频率等于或两倍于LO信号频率的二元或四元相位编码信号。

Plasmonic-WS2 hybrids have attracted widespread interest for plasmon driven catalytic reactions. In this work, a Ag nanoparticles (NPs)/WS2 hybrid was fabricated by utilizing a one-step anodized Al template-assisted vacuum thermal evaporation technique and wet transfer method. To optimize the catalytic performance, the morphological evolution and corresponding changes in the catalytic properties of the Ag NPs/WS2 hybrid at different thermal annealing temperatures were investigated. It was found that the surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) and catalytic activity of the hybrid were optimized by tuning the annealing temperature, with the optimal SERS and catalytic properties observed at 290 degrees C. These results may open new avenues for improving the efficiency and expanding the research field of plasmon-driven reactions.

Optical perfect absorbers have attracted much attention due to their wide applications in areas including optical sensors, energy utilization, and photocatalysis. We present the design, characterization, and experimental demonstration of a narrowband, polarization- and angular-insensitive, high-performance plasmonic metasurface absorber in near-ultraviolet region. A measured absorption peak of 89% is achieved at the wavelength of similar to 380 nm, though the calculated results give near-perfect absorption at the resonance wavelength. Our findings will promote more research on metasurface absorbers in near-ultraviolet region. (c) 2023 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE)

Improving electrocatalyst performance is key to the large-scale application of fuel cells. Here, we constructed non-homogeneous AuPd alloy nanoparticles with excellent electrocatalytic activity based on the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect of Au nanoparticles for the first time. The mass activity and specific activity of the non-homogeneous AuPd alloy for ethanol oxidation reaction can reach 18.14 A/mgPd and 20.28 mA cm-2, respectively, 10.67 and 3.75 times higher than that of commercial Pd/C. Experimental characterizations and theoretical simulations show that Pd precursor is reduced and deposited on the surface of Au NPs, and the localized temperature field drives the atomic interdiffusion. Finite element simulation results indicate a large temperature gradient around the laser-irradiated Au NPs, and the effective reduction of the Pd precursor is confined to the 2.5 nm thick shell region. This work demonstrates the heterogeneous nucleation and growth of nanocrystals driven by LSPR, providing a promising strategy for the rational design of bimetal nanoparticles.

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is an ultra-sensitive analytical tool that can effectively detect and identify molecules by their unique vibrational fingerprints. Development of SERS substrates with good stability, high sensitivity and reproducibility is still a big challenge in practical applications. Recently, 2D materials/metallic hybrid SERS substrates provide a new prospect to improve the SERS performance. Here, we obtain a monolayer MoS2 covered silver nanoparticle (AgNP) array as a high-performance SERS substrate. Annealing temperature-dependent SERS signals on the hybrid substrate have been explored. The optimum SERS performance was obtained at 290 t (the detection limit of 10(13) M for Rhodamine 6G and the corresponding SERS enhancement factor of 8.3 x 10(9)), which is attributed to the better contact between AgNPs and MoS2 and the uniform AgNPs with appropriate particle sizes. The prepared MoS2/AgNPs hybrid substrates also have been utilized to detect various molecules, which demonstrates a great potential for applications in food safety and biochemical environmental detection. A hybrid membrane is employed as a high-order plasmonic distributed feedback (DFB) cavity to reduce the lasing threshold of polymer lasers. The hybrid membrane consists of an anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane, a 25 nm thick silver layer and a free-standing polymer membrane. The AAO membrane is fabricated by a low-cost, single chemical etching method. Then, a layer of silver with a thickness of 25 nm is sputtered on the surface of the AAO. Subsequently, a polymer membrane is directly attached to the silver-plated AAO membrane, forming an AAO/silver/polymer hybrid membrane. Under optical pumping conditions, low-threshold, three-order DFB lasing is observed. The proposed laser device exhibited a dual-threshold characteristic because of the evolution from amplified spontaneous emission to DFB lasing. And a significant shift from omnidirectional emission to directional emission lasing can be observed while the pump energy density is beyond the second threshold. Furthermore, the plasmonic enhancement sourced from silver corrugation reveals important improvement effects to the DFB lasing of AAO/silver/polymer hybrid membrane for decreasing threshold, narrowing full width at half maximum (FWHM), and an increasing Q factor. This work may promote the design and production of low-cost and large-area high-order plasmonic DFB polymer lasers. 本发明公开了一种基于阵列结构实现多通道共载频相位编码信号系统及方法,适用于基于光子技术的多通道、独立高速相位编码信号产生,以便于分布式光纤传输。该方法涉及微波光子技术领域。系统包括激光器(LD)、双平行偏振复用马赫曾德尔调制器(DP‑DPMZM)、多通道光耦合器(Coupler)、偏振相关相位调制器(DP‑PM)、光偏振片(Pol)、光电探测器(PD)。本方法将本振(LO)信号通过90°电桥输入到DP‑DPMZM上臂中,调节偏置电压实现LO信号的载波抑制一阶边带输出,与下路的正交偏振光载波信号偏振合束,再经过多通道光耦合器分束,分别输入到多个相同的偏振相关相位调制器中,多路独立相位编码序列分别加载到偏振相关相位调制器上,完成对正交偏振态光信号的相位进行调制,最后通过Pol和PD拍频后获得多通道共载频相位编码信号。

一种基于多孔阳极氧化铝的大面积彩色图案制备方法涉及多孔阳极氧化铝模板技术领域。本发明利用纳米压印技术与阳极氧化法相结合的方式在同一样品上制备具有不同孔隙率的多孔阳极氧化铝薄膜,并采用磁控溅射或真空蒸镀等方法在多孔阳极氧化铝薄膜上沉积不同厚度的银层,在短时间内实现低成本、大面积,且具有多种颜色的彩色图案。该研究将大幅度降低设计结构彩色所需要的时间和经济成本,为结构色的批量生产奠定基础。
