摘要 :
Active control over the optical response has been investigated extensively, which is highly required in next-generation photonic devices. Here, we report a core-shell nanostructure combined with the plasmonic nanostructure with an active phase change material, termed as Au@GST, where the individual Au nanoparticle is wrapped by isolated active Ge2Sb2Te5 (GST) tuning medium as the shell. We demonstrate the active control of optical response by the simultaneous control of size and crystallization degree of the phase change shell within each isolated core-shell nanostructure. The hetero-nanostructures are synthesized by direct sputtering of stoichiometric GST on Au nanoparticles with different sizes based on a seeding effect of the metal nanostructures. The tunable optical response is enabled by inducing the GST shell phase states between amorphous and crystalline phases through thermal annealing, accompanied by high optical contrast. We demonstrate the tunable optical response (from 570 to 630 nm) of the hetero-nanostructures by tailoring the GST shell's optical property. The experimental results show that the optical response of the Au@GST core-shell hetero-nanostructures exhibits high sensitivity to the size of the nanoparticles (GST thickness and Au diameter). The simulation results are in good agreement with the experiments. This confirms the dominant role of the phase states on the optical modulation. Furthermore, this study provides a single-step and lithography-free 3D printing process to arrange the hybrid Au@GST core-shell nanostructures in a large area deliberately, giving additional flexibility to control over the architecture and geometry. Such Au@GST core-shell hetero-nanostructures have the potential for active control of nanophotonic devices, such as super-resolution imaging and programmable metasurfaces.

本文梳理商务英语通用语的内涵与研究缘起,并依据主要研究议题,将当前商务英语通用语研究热点与前沿概括为语言学和国际商务学两大研究视角.前者在语音、词汇语法、篇章层面描述商务英语通用语的使用特征,后者探究商务英语通用语在组织内部和外部沟通中被内化为国际商务策略的特殊属性.基于研究的多学科视角及特征,本文提出未来研究应以问题为导向,融合及拓展多学科与多模态研究路径,并讨论商务英语通用语研究的理论建构必要性.

摘要 :
Shear walls of cold-formed steel (CFS) with high aspect ratios could be used in buildings with large openings such as doors and windows. However, the performance of CFS shear walls with high aspect ratios remains unclear due to limited test data. This research aimed to explore the mechanic performance and strength reduction factor of CFS shear walls with high aspect ratios through an experimental study. Five full-scale specimens were tested under monotonic loading, and the failure mechanism, bearing capacity, stiffness, ductility, and energy dissipation of the specimens were obtained. The test results indicated that shear walls with small aspect ratios typically fail as a result of connection damage to horizontal seams and corners, whilst shear walls with high aspect ratios commonly buckle at both the end stud and bottom track. As the aspect ratio increased, the initial stiffness and capacity decreased, while the energy dissipation per unit length increased due to greater flexibility. Ultimately, this study proposes a more reasonable design formula for strength reduction factors based upon a regression analysis of the test data. This will facilitate a more sustainable design approach, and fulfills current standards in engineering practice.

Owing to the increasing energy demands, direct small-molecule fuel cells, such as ethanol and formate fuel cells, have attracted great attention. During the operation of the fuel cell, noble metal catalysts are widely used to accelerate the reaction kinetics by alloying with other materials. However, there are a few facile methods for improving elemental metal catalytic activity. In this work, the defect-rich palladium (Pd) aerogels are acquired by laser ablating technology, which can significantly improve the intrinsic activity of Pd elementary catalysts through introducing defects and lattice strain. The electrochemical results show that the mass and specific activities of the obtained Pd aerogel for the formate oxidation reaction are 2.26 and 1.99 times higher than those of the commercial Pd/C. The excellent activity and stability of the Pd aerogel for ethanol oxidation reaction have also been demonstrated. The effect of the compressive strain is further investigated by density functional theory (DFT) calculations. It has been found that the compressive strain weakens the adsorption strength of the intermediates, which can facilitate the desorption of toxic specifics. The laser-assisted synthesis of defect-rich aerogel paves a way in optimizing the structure of the elemental metal catalysts and improving their intrinsic catalytic activity.

In this study, a series of butt welding tests with oscillating fiber laser beams were performed on zinc-coated thin sheets of 0.8 and 1.2 mm thicknesses. The optimized welding parameters were used to produce robust welds with no perforations or pores. The weld formation process, microstructure, and mechanical properties of welded joints with the butt surfaces processed via laser and shear cutting techniques were systematically investigated. Besides, the corrosion resistance of the laser oscillating welded joint was analyzed in detail. The welded joint with the butt surface processed by laser cutting shows less undercutting degree with a more favorable weld appearance. The two welded joints had similar microstructures containing different forms of ferrites. The heat-affected zone was almost identical to the base metal in microstructure but had larger grains. Widmanstatten ferrites' content in the large-grained weld metal of welded joints with surface processed via laser cutting exceeded that of shear cutting-processed ones. The former had lower tensile strength than the latter, but their overall mechanical performance was better than base metal. After salt spray corrosion and electrochemical corrosion tests, the laser oscillating welded joint was only slightly corroded and exhibited no obvious deterioration in corrosion resistance.

Ultra-fast growth (up to 100 nm s(-1)) of high temperature superconducting film was demonstrated by using an advanced pulsed laser deposition technique. Highly textured EuBa2Cu3O7-delta (EuBCO) film with 8 mol.% of BaHfO3 (BHO) was deposited on the IBAD-based Hastelloy substrates. Structure characterizations reveal formation of high density of BHO nanocolumns with diameter of similar to 5 nm in the film, which is well beyond the expectation. Comparison study on different amount of BHO in EBCO film confirmed that nanocolumn formation strongly depends on the dopant level. The epitaxial growth process of BHO is dominated by ultra-fast self-assembly associated with enhanced diffusion of high flux element and liquid phase. Due to the correlated pinning landscape, a pronounced broad peak appears at B//c in the J(c)() curves at 30 K 5 T, while a strong pinning force of about 900 GN m(-3) at 4.2 K, 10 T (B//c) are achieved.

The effect of KrF excimer laser irradiation on the optical and electrical properties of epitaxial wafers with a p-GaN surface were investigated at different laser energy densities and pulse numbers. The laser-irradiated samples were annealed in oxygen. The laser irradiation-induced changes in optical and electrical properties of GaN epitaxial wafers were examined using PL, I-V, XPS, SIMS, and Hall effect measurements. Experimental results show that under an appropriate laser-irradiated condition, optical and electrical properties of the samples were improved to different degrees. The samples which were annealed after laser irradiation have better electrical properties such as the hole concentration and sheet resistance than those without annealing. We hypothesize that the pulsed KrF excimer laser irradiation dissociates the Mg-H complexes and annealing treatment allows the hydrogen to diffuse out more completely under the oxygen atmosphere at a proper temperature, by which the crystalline symmetry of GaN is improved. Under appropriate laser conditions and O-2-activated annealing, the light output of the laser-irradiated GaN-based LED sample is about 1.44 times that of a conventional LED at 20 mA. It is found that the wall-plug efficiency is 10% higher at 20 mA and the reverse leakage current is 80% lower at 5 V.

In this study, ZnO ceramics with two types of TPMS structure (Gyroid structure and Schwartz P structure) were fabricated by 3D printing. The solid content of ZnO ceramics powder was 38 wt%. The solid content of SR454NS Acrylic was 57 wt%. The other components of the slurry were photoinitiator, dispersant and sintering additive. The ZnO ceramics with high densification could be achieved after sintering at 1250 ?C for 2 h. The average grain size was 37 ?m and the true density of the printed ZnO ceramics was 4.95 g/cm3. The shape of printed ZnO ceramics can be controlled and the minimum size of thin rod is 200 ?m. The compressive strength for Gyroid structural ZnO ceramic with 55% porosity and the Schwartz P structural ZnO ceramic was approximately 6.87 MPa and 4.02 MPa, respectively. The result shows that the Gyroid structural ZnO ceramics can bear much more deformation than the Schwartz P structure during the compression tests. The TPMS structural ZnO ceramics can be used in the field of sensing and detection in the future.

基于阳极氧化铝模板,采用真空蒸镀技术,制备了高度有序的周期性银纳米球阵列.阵列几何结构参数调控实验发现,通过控制蒸镀厚度,可实现对阵列中银纳米球尺寸(直径)和间距的有效调控,进而有效实现对紫外-可见-近红外各波段吸收峰位和峰宽的调制.吸收光谱测试显示,该纳米阵列在紫外、可见和近红外波段都具有明显的电磁波吸收特性.时域有限差分理论模拟结合实验分析不同波段光吸收特性的物理机制,紫外超窄强吸收为银、铝介电环境非对称诱发的法诺共振,可见波段吸收源自于银纳米粒子局域表面等离子体共振,近红外波段强吸收为银纳米球阵列表面晶格共振所激发.
