本发明公开了一种基于分布式最优控制的智能网联车匝道合并方法,以最小化各智能车的通行时间和能耗为目标,解决了一种从不同道路到匝道合并点的最优控制问题。首先基于合并约束和安全约束,得到了单个智能车的最优轨迹,随后扩展到多匝道合并段的车辆协调。本发明提出了两阶段优化策略,即先对控制区域内的所有车辆进行上层排序,再根据排序计算车辆的下层输入。最后通过SUMO和Python的协同仿真验证该方法的有效性。结果表明,与传统的车辆相比,最优控制下的车辆的油耗和行驶时间都得到了显著的降低,该发明为以后分布式最优控制提高交通效率奠定了基础。

This article designs an optimal observer-based output feedback control for traffic breakdown to dissolve traffic congestion using the backstepping method and optimization. The linearized Aw-Rascle-Zhang model is used to represent the congested traffic dynamics resulting from traffic breakdown. Based on the factors leading to traffic breakdown, we take into account the boundary conditions consisting of a boundary with a constant density and a speed drop at the upstream inlet of a bottleneck, and a boundary with a disturbance of inflow (high traffic demand) at the inlet of the road segment under consideration. To dissolve traffic congestion, a dynamic feedback controller is designed at the upstream boundary. By using the backstepping approach, an observer-based output feedback controller is computed to guarantee the integral input-to-state stability of the closed-loop system. By establishing an optimization problem and solving it, the optimal value of the considered class controller is obtained. The performance of the output feedback controller is also validated by numerical simulations.

Simultaneous State and Cyber-attack Estimation for Autonomous Vehicular Flow Models via Boundary Observers CPCI-S

With the rapid development of autonomous driving techniques, the cyber-attack issue has emerged as a serious concern due to the cyber vulnerability of autonomous vehicles. In this paper, we consider the cyber security for the autonomous vehicular flow which suffers from the cyber-attack signals on speed dynamics. To address this problem, the Aw-Rascle-Zhang model is extended by considering the unknown cyber-attack to the autonomous vehicles. A novel simultaneous state and input estimation algorithm is developed for the cyber-attack ARZ model by using the boundary observer. The exponential stability of the simultaneous estimation algorithm is given with a set of inequality conditions. Finally, numerical simulation illustrates that the proposed algorithm can estimate the traffic flow state and unknown cyber-attack simultaneously.

State estimate of traffic flow of a freeway segment is considered by using the method of boundary observer design. The observer control and measurements are all located at the boundaries. The nonequilibrium traffic flow dynamics are modeled as a Markov jump linear hyperbolic system with phase transitions. Based on the Lyapunov techniques, the sufficient conditions of matrix inequalities are derived for the exponentially mean-square static as well as the dynamic boundary observer design. Using real traffic data of vehicle trajectories from the Next Generation Simulation (NGSIM) project, the developed stochastic phase transition model of the nonequilibrium traffic flow is calibrated. Moreover, the simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the boundary observer design for traffic estimation.

We develop backstepping state feedback control to stabilize a moving shockwave in a freeway segment under bilateral boundary actuations of traffic flow. A moving shockwave, consisting of light traffic upstream of the shockwave and heavy traffic downstream, is usually caused by changes of local road situations. The density discontinuity travels upstream and drivers caught in the shockwave experience transitions from free to congested traffic. Boundary control design in this article brings the shockwave front to a static setpoint position, hindering the upstream propagation of traffic congestion. The traffic dynamics are described with Lighthil-Whitham-Richard model, leading to a system of two first-order hyperbolic partial differential equations (PDEs). Each represents the traffic density of a spatial domain segregated by the moving interface. By Rankine-Hugoniot condition, the interface position is driven by flux discontinuity and thus governed by an ordinary differential equation (ODE) dependent on the PDE states. The control objective is to stabilize both the PDE states of traffic density and the ODE state of moving shock position to setpoint values. Using delay representation and backstepping method, we design predictor feedback controllers to cooperatively compensate state-dependent input delays to the ODE. From Lyapunov stability analysis, we show local stability of the closed-loop system in H1 norm with an arbitrarily fast convergence rate. The stabilization result is demonstrated by a numerical simulation and the total travel time of the open-loop system is reduced by 12% in the closed loop.

Microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition (MPCVD) offers us a new option to realize high-temperature epitaxy. In this work, AlN films were deposited on 6H-SiC substrates by MPCVD. The epitaxy was carried out without the participation of ammonia. The results reveal that workable temperature for AlN epitaxy is from 1300 degrees C-1450 degrees C. X-ray rocking curves and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirm the improved crystalline quality of AlN grown at higher temperatures. The narrowest FWHM of X-ray rocking curves for AlN (0002) and (10-12) are 142 and 350 arcsec at 1450 degrees C, respectively. Possible growth mechanisms are suggested.

In this paper, we address the consensus-based dynamic boundary observer design, where the freeway traffic network modelled by the linearized Aw-Rascle-Zhang traffic flow model is observed by a network of sensors. inspired by the consensus based static boundary observer design for the finite-dimensional ordinary differential equation systems, we further propose a consensus-based dynamic boundary observer and directly analyze the delectability for the infinite dimensional traffic system by means of Lyapunov techniques. The sufficient conditions for the distributed consensus-based boundary observer in terms of matrix inequalities are also provided. Finally, the performance of the proposed approach is tested by some numerical simulations.

本发明公开了一种基于深度强化学习的交通信号配时优化方法,在该方案中,信号灯可以根据交叉口各方向的交通流状态输出适当的相位,并动态调整相位长度。具体来说,首先采用PPO算法来提高模型的收敛速度。然后,利用DTSE方法定义车辆状态,并且详细阐述了状态、动作和奖励的设计。最后,通过交通仿真平台SUMO对实际交通数据进行了实验。结果表明,与传统的定时控制相比,该方案能有效地减少车辆在各种交通流模式下的等待时间和排队长度。

本发明公开了一种基于深度强化学习的自主驾驶规则学习方法,在车联网环境下,路网中存在两种类型车辆,自主驾驶车和网联车。自主驾驶车通过车载控制系统与车联网的车车(Vehicle‑to‑Vehicle,V2V)通信技术实时获取路网中网联车的行驶状态,通过深度强化学习的方式,在保证交通安全的情况下,学习自主驾驶规则,调节车辆队列驾驶间距,以最大化路网的平均速度和提高路网的通行效率。为以后利用深度强化学习进一步提高车辆的自主决策能力奠定了基础。
